  • “Wow! Trip of a lifetime from start to finish! We stayed 3 nights on the tundra lodge. The accommodations, food, tundra buggy, lounge, diner, cultural presentations were all beyond our expectations. Mark, our driver, and Jason, our guide, were outstanding, knowledgeable, passionate and great story tellers with a witty sense of humor. We saw polar bears, red fox, arctic hare and amazing scenery and even the Northern Lights!! We are currently in our post-trip mode of feeling great sadness to leave but true gratefulness to have had this very special experience. We hope to return one day - this time for belugas! ”

  • “We had a fantastic time in Churchill and got to see lights all three nights. The best lights were during our Dan’s Diner experience. It was over the top. Dog sledding was a must. It was great to meet such happy dogs. And I got to snow shoe for the first time. It was easier than I expected. This means I did not trip no fall. All in all, there is not anyway to improve the itinerary. It was perfect. ”

  • “What an amazing adventure. Heather was a fabulous guide - knowledgeable, fun, kept us on track. Tim was a fun guy - always punctual, friendly and helpful. I am keen to come back for bear season and aurora season. Had a fabulous time. Thank you!”

  • “We went for the photo specialist tour at the start of November. We picked the dates after a careful review of when is the best time to see bears, and luckily this paid off and we saw lots of Polar Bears enjoying themselves in the cold weather. They are very curious animals, and great fun to watch. The Tundra Buggy Lodge is slightly different to your usual hotel with bunk beds and shared showers and toilets, but it is certainly the best way to live among the bears as some sleep right beside your window! The food and staff in the lodge were excellent, and wine was served with dinner. The only slight inconvenience was having to wait for a shower at peak times. Overall we had an excellent trip and the Arctic experience was certainly very memorable. Our driver Alex and guide Mike were both very professional and worked hard to make sure we were in the right place to see bears, foxes, ptarmigan, caribou and even a pine marten. It was certainly a very different and special experience. We can strongly recommend visiting the Tundra Buggy Lodge.”

  • Obviously the highlight was seeing the polar bears, but going around the town of Churchill was really nice and definitely worth being on the itinerary. We received outstanding hospitality and service from everyone we encountered - the drivers we had, the various servers for all our meals and the talks we were given. Everyone was just so friendly.

    The trip was magical!

  • “I actually just returned from your Northern Lights trip with Mike Gere. It was wonderful. I had signed up for these emails to learn more about Churchill. It was a great trip with a wonderful guide, and I hope to go back again in the future”

  • “Thank you so much for the outstanding Bears, Blooms, Belugas trip from July 20-25. All of the accommodations and meals were top notch. The belugas brought tears to my eyes and to say my heart is full would be an understatement. More importantly is your incredible staff. Our guide, Ian, has got to be one of the nicest human beings on this earth! His kindness and patience are unmatched. Also, Ian’s knowledge is amazing. Danielle, from your Churchill office is fantastic. She is also kind, patient, friendly and very enthusiastic. Brendon drove the Tundra Buggy and he exhibited much kindness and patience too! Ian, Danielle, and Brendon each went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s wishes. Absolutely amazing every minute! Thank you!!!!!”

Brenda P, 2024, Belugas, Bears and Blooms

  • “Thank you for being so prompt and helpful in our endless queries. You are a dear and a big help. Just want you to know, Kathy and I had a blast on our trip. We love the people in Churchill, our guides and the people in our tour as well. The auroras more than quench my thirst for this cosmic experience and I got some fantastic pictures from this adventure.”
