Our Partners

We are proud to work with the many friends we’ve made over the past 30 years

We consider our partners as friends. With over 30 years of adventuring in Canada’s north, we’ve made lots of great friends along the way. They help us deliver on our mission of sharing the wildlife, history and customs of the people of the north. We’re proud to work with the following partners.

Pbi Circle

Polar Bears International

Polar Bears International is the world’s leading polar bear conservation group – dedicated to saving polar bears by saving their habitat.

Since 2001, Frontiers North Adventures has been a Platinum sponsor of Polar Bears International. To help Polar Bears International better accomplish its goals every year Frontiers North supports Polar Bears International’s Climate Alliance®, Tundra Connections®, and Field Ambassador Program, as well as provides Polar Bears International access to the Churchill Wildlife Management Area through Tundra Buggy® One.

Our exclusive alliance with Polar Bears International provides an opportunity for our guests to learn first-hand from Polar Bears International species experts who join us on our Tundra Buggies and at our Tundra Buggy Lodge. Presentations add to the in-depth interpretation provided by our interpretive guides and drivers.

Frontiers North is proud of our close relationship with Polar Bears International and is committed to supporting their efforts towards preserving polar bears.

Raincoast Circle

Raincoast Conservation Foundation

Frontiers North Adventures is proud to partner with Raincoast Conservation Foundation, a leading science-based organization working to protect marine wildlife and coastal ecosystems. Through their Cetacean Conservation Research Program, Raincoast collaborates with Indigenous communities and scientists to study how beluga whales and other cetaceans use sound to navigate, communicate, and survive in rapidly changing ecosystems.

This partnership, launched in 2022, enriches our beluga whale programming by offering guests insight into acoustic communication, underwater noise pollution, and the broader conservation challenges facing beluga whales. Often called “Sea Canaries,” belugas are among the most vocal marine mammals, and understanding their unique soundscape is key to protecting them.

Together, we are helping amplify research and awareness to ensure the long-term survival of belugas and the ecosystems they call home.

Assiniboine Park Conservancy

Frontiers North Adventures is honoured to partner with Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing wildlife research and conservation in Manitoba and beyond. Their work supports critical studies on polar bears, beluga whales, and seals—species that define the ecological richness of the Churchill region.

Since 2013, we have collaborated with APC on our One Day Polar Bear Adventure, which invites guests to explore the tundra alongside Dr. Stephen Petersen, Director of Conservation and Research. Through expert interpretation and firsthand wildlife viewing, guests gain insight into subarctic species and the role of scientific research in understanding climate change.

Proceeds from this experience support the Assiniboine Park Conservancy’s Wildlife Conservation Fund, helping fuel ongoing efforts to protect Canada’s iconic northern wildlife.

Glenfiddich Circle

Glenfiddich

Frontiers North Adventures is proud to partner with Glenfiddich, one of the world’s most celebrated single-malt Scotch whisky brands, to offer guests an unforgettable tasting experience beneath the northern lights.

At the close of our Dan’s Diner culinary evening, guests gather around a glowing fire beside a hand-carved ice bar, where Glenfiddich is served among the trees of the boreal forest—set against a backdrop of stunning subarctic landscape and dancing northern lights. This exclusive partnership brings together two brands rooted in craftsmanship and storytelling and elevates our winter dining experience with warmth, tradition, and a touch of the extraordinary.

Explore.org

explore.org

Frontiers North Adventures is proud to collaborate with Explore.org, a philanthropic media organization dedicated to connecting people with the natural world through storytelling, education, and live content. A project of the Annenberg Foundation, Explore.org hosts one of the world’s largest libraries of live wildlife cams, documentaries, and global photography.

Over a decade ago, together with Explore.org and Polar Bears International, we launched polarbearcam.com—a live-streaming initiative that brings Churchill’s polar bears to millions of viewers around the world each fall. Now, with cameras mounted on Tundra Buggy® One and on our Tundra Buggy Lodge infrastructure, the program has continued to grow and offers live views across all three seasons. Today, audiences can witness not only polar bears but also beluga whales in summer and the northern lights in winter—providing year-round access to the wonders of Churchill. These real-time experiences foster global awareness and conservation advocacy through immersive, virtual connection to the wild.

Parks Canada

Parks Canada

Frontiers North Adventures is proud to work in partnership with Parks Canada, an organization dedicated to protecting and presenting the natural and cultural heritage of Canada for present and future generations. This includes Wapusk National Park—home to one of the world’s largest concentrations of polar bear maternity dens and a long-running research program focused on polar bear ecology.

Our collaboration supports responsible tourism and conservation education in Canada’s North, helping guests better understand the significance of Wapusk’s delicate ecosystem and the ongoing efforts to protect it. Together, we’re working to ensure that these wild places and the species that depend on them are preserved for generations to come.
