Our One Day Polar Bear Adventure is an an unforgettable one day adventure to visit The Polar Bear Capital of the World with Dr. Stephen Petersen, Director of Conservation and Research at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This action packed experience gives you the full Churchill polar bear adventure in just one day. Fly to Churchill in the morning, then head straight out onto the tundra for a full day of exploring the Churchill Wildlife Management Area and viewing wild polar bears in their natural habitat. At the end of the day, you will return directly to the Churchill airport for your flight back to Winnipeg.

This is a full-day adventure!
Your day begins early, with check-in around 6:00 AM in Winnipeg for your flight to Churchill. Once there, you’ll spend approximately 6 hours exploring the tundra, searching for polar bears and taking in the beauty of the subarctic landscape.
After a light dinner onboard the return flight, you’ll arrive back in Winnipeg between 8:00–9:00 PM.
While it’s a long day, it’s incredibly rewarding—with the chance to see wild polar bears and return home the very same evening.
A portion of the proceeds from this tour is donated to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy in support of its polar bear research and conservation efforts. By participating, guests contribute directly to initiatives aimed at preserving polar bear populations and their habitats.
This particular adventure is a same-day fly-in/fly-out experience, so there’s no option to extend your time in Churchill as part of this trip.
